Elvina May Hill, 84, of North Platte passed away on Jan. 30, 2026 surrounded by her loving and devoted family.

She was born on August 20, 1941, to Clarence and Anna (Cogdill) Banks in Ogallala, NE. Elvina graduated high school in Ovid, CO. then married Ronald Hill. They lived in Julesburg CO, Grand Island NE and North Platte, NE., where Elvina spent her career as a hospice care giver and worked with handicap. She loved spending time with family as much as possible. She was an avid reader and loved crossword puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Anna Banks, sisters Mary Johnson and Madeline Jiminez, brother Elvin Banks and great grandchildren Shawnee Taylor and Adrian Harlow.

Elvina is survived by her daughters Cindy Labenz (Dana), Deborah Harris (Mark), Glynda Taylor (Craig) and son Dougles Hill. Grandchildren, Charity Farley, Cameron Harris, Maci Gardner, Shane Diebert, Cheyanne Taylor, Damia Hill, Tristan Hill and Devon Hill. Great grandchildren, Adi and Isabell Diebert, Fisher Farley, Nathanial Farley, Rosalie Fairbanks, Symphony Taylor, Aceyn Anakin, Atlas and Axel Gardner, Cailen, Kinslee, Gunner Glinsman and great, great grandchild, Easton Farley. Elvina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and she will be missed by all who know her.
