The number of cases of COVID-19 increased in the North Platte schools during the week, but the number of patients with the virus at Great Plains Health decreased.
The number of cases in the school district called for masks to be required throughout one of the districts 10 buildings. Previously, masks were required in a classroom or two in recent weeks.
