The North Platte Concert Association announces its exciting 2026-27 concert season, continuing its mission of bringing high-quality concerts that engage, educate, and entertain.

The association extends sincere gratitude to dedicated season members and patrons, whose ongoing support makes it possible to present outstanding live performances for the North Platte community and surrounding areas.

Th coming season features three exceptional concerts showcasing a variety of musical styles and world-class talent:

Nu Blu (country & bluegrass) – Tuesday, Oct. 6.

North Carolina-based Nu Blu has quickly risen as one of the top acoustic acts in the music industry. Featuring guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, and rich vocal harmonies, the group delivers a warm layered Appalachian sound. Their performance offers a dynamic range of songs from deeply moving ballads to lively, exuberant tunes.

Travis Anderson Trio: A tribute to John Williams – Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2027

Audiences can expect an evening of pure magical joy as the Travis Anderson Trio brings their signature blend of swinging jazz, technical brilliance, and nostalgic charm. This special performance pays tribute to legendary film composer, John Williams, whose iconic scores have inspired generations. Williams is best known for his collaborations with George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. He has a total of 54 Academy Award nominations — the second-most nominated person in the award’s history.

David Shannon: Ireland’s Greatest Showman – Tuesday, April 20, 2027

Irish tenor David Shannon brings more than 25 years of professional performance experience to the stage. Known for his engaging style, charismatic personality, and versatility across musical genres, Shannon has starred in leading roles on Broadway, including The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Sweeney Todd, Jesus Christ Superstar, Miss Saigon, and Come From Away.

Season memberships remain at $60 for adults, $15 for students, and $125 for a family. Patron memberships are also available and they include special recognition in concert programs as well as on the playhouse monitors.
