Compassionate Friends: New meeting place

The Compassionate Friends, a support group for parents who have lost a child, will meet at a new gathering place — Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in North Platte.

The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14 at the church, which is at 402 Baytree.

Organizers ask you to bring a candle to light, a picture if you want to do so, and an ornament if you’d like to add one to the Christmas tree.

Please arrive by 6:45 p.m. to set up your candle.
