The annual budget hearing of the Lincoln County Board of commissioners will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 14 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners meeting room.

The meeting room is on the east end of the courthouse. At the hearing, the public can make comments on the proposed 2020-21 budget of all the county departments.

At the end of the public comments, the board will consider adopting the budget.

Then, a hearing will be held to receive comments relating to the final property tax request and after the hearing, the commissioners will consider adopting the tax levy.



Both hearings will be held after the regular weekly commissioners’ meeting. During the regular meeting, the commissioners will go behind closed doors twice to discuss pending litigation. The closed sesssions will be held at 10 a.m. and at 10:30 a.m.

Earlier in the meeting, the commissioners will:

• Discuss and consider an application submitted by Alice Robinson and Anna Bellinger for Wendeborn Administrative Subdivision located at 5998 & 6084 So. Range Road.

• Discuss and consider an application by Sheree Swedberg for Swedberg 2nd Administrative Subdivision at 2899 No. Lamont Road.

• Discuss and consider reappointment of Steve Koch and Zak Eickhoff to the Lincoln County Planning Commission for 3 year terms.

• Discuss and consider the appointment of Brent Roggow to the Lincoln County Planning Commission for a 3 year term.
