The 30th annual Col. Cody’s Cruise, show and shine will be held from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7 in Memorial Park in North Platte.
The large car show attracts 200 or more entries from several states. The show includes deejay music, games and raffles.
The winner of a classic restored automobile, raffled by Mid-Plains Community College, will be drawn and announced at 2 p.m. Tickets are available until the drawing
This year, that car is a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am with a 5.7 liter engine, a 4L60 transmission, and custom pearl paint, fully restored by students at the community college.
Memorial Park is at 1200 E. Fourth St.
The weekend begins Friday evening with a barbeque dinner for participants only at the North Platte Eagles club.
