Award winning southern gospel singer Brenda Copeland from Point, Texas will speak at the North Platte Christian Women’s groups in mid-February.
A breast cancer survivor, Brenda is inspiring and humorous as she relates “My Story in Song,” organizers say.
Copeland began singing at age 3 and has 15 Gospel music albums. She has been awarded several music awards including soloist of the year, female vocalist of the year and entertainer of the year.
The North Platte After-Five group will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 18 at Parkview Community Church, 1802 N. Jeffers.
The cost is $7, which includes a meal.

Tuesday Morning Brunch is at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at the First Christian Church, 420 N. Vine. Use the back door. The cost is $5. Brenda Copeland will also provide the music.
