Work is slated to begin on Tuesday, Sept. 3 to replace a bridge on County Road 754 south of Cozad in Dawson County, the Nebraska Department of Transportation said.
The county road bridge crosses the Central Nebraska Public Power and Irrigation District canal.
Traffic will be detoured to Nebraska Highway 21 during the replacement. The anticipated completion will be in February, the NDOT said.
Simon Contractors, Inc., of Cheyenne, Wyo., is the contractor.
