Buffalo Bill Ranch State Historical Park will be the place for ghostly tours this Halloween.

Buffalo Bill Ranch SHP invites the public to tour the Cody mansion with their Candlelight tours on Oct. 12-13 from 7:30-10:30 p.m. The theme is 1883, which was a big year for William Cody.  He filed for divorce, his second child passed away and he performed his first Wild West Show Exhibition.

On Oct. 19, 20, 26, 27, 30, and 31 the ranch will introduce the “Haunted History” at the Cody’s from 7:30-10 p.m.  Guests will see creepy glimpses of different time periods in history while touring the park in wagon rides.

The history is not exclusive to the Cody’s but include true historical events including Rose Hill cemetery where Kit and Ora Cody are buried in Rochester, N.Y.

Narratives of the history surrounding them along with the effects of scarlet fever in Nebraska will be told along with other historical accounts. This tour is suggested for visitors 12 and older.

Tickets for these events are $10 and a park entry permit is required. For more information about these events, call the ranch at 308-535-8035.
