This past week I was once again fortunate enough to participate in the governor’s Pine Ridge Turkey Hunt. This is the sixth year I’ve been able to join with a number of my fellow senators and the governor, and showcase the hospitality and beauty of northwest Nebraska.

This hunt was first organized in the early 1990s by a group of Chadron area hunting and economic development enthusiasts. The idea was to offer a fun and inviting way to bring business, government, and elected officials together and educate them about all the great opportunities in this beautiful part of our state.
