Three musicals will be presented in the 2026-27 community playhouse season — Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat; You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown; and My Fair Lady.

Auditions for all three are scheduled from 7-9 p.m. on Sept. 14-16 in the Canteen Room of the Fox Theatre.

A prepared song by the auditioner is preferred but not required. The directors and musical directors will be at each audition.

If you are unable to attend but would like to be considered for a role, please get in touch with the director of the musical you are interested in or the NPCP main office to submit information. The information is below:

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (in conjunction with North Platte Community College.)

Parts for 13-20 adults and 6-8 children. Rehearsals begin Sept. 22. Performances Nov. 13-15 & 20-22. Directed by Ritch Galvan. Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Lyrics by Tim Rice.

You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown

Based on The Comic Strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz

Parts for 2 women, 4 men, 8 extras. Performances Feb. 12-14 & 19-21. Rehearsals begin Dec. 18. Directed by Jessica Shore.

My Fair Lady

Parts for 6 women, 10 men, and an ensemble. Performances April 9-11 & 16-18. Rehearsals begin late February.

Directed by Bea Webster. Book and lyrics by Allan Jay Lerner. Music by Frederick Loewe.

In addition

Auditions for Charlie Brown and My Fair Lady might not be finalized during the auditions in September.

A second audition for Charlie Brown will be held on Nov. 23 and 25.

A second audition for My Fair Lady will be held on Feb. 16.

The dates are subject to change. Casting for these shows will be finalized a week before rehearsals begin.
