The Lincoln County Historical Museum will celebrate 50 years on Friday, July 17 with a three-course banquet from 6-9 p.m.

Entertainment and a live auction will be part of the fundraising evening, organizers say.

The first course of the meal will be fresh green salad with dressing and homemade dinner roll with apple butter.

The second course will be marinated chicken breast topped with smoked bacon and provolone cheese, or else a pork tenderloin with a balsamic glaze and herb crust.

The third course will consist of loaded mashed potatoes, green beans sauteed in a savory barbecue sauce, organizers say.

The dessert will be homemade pie.

The entry fee will be $100.
