On Sept. 17, 2023, Angela “Angel” Therece Robinson died at Great Plains Health at the age of 51.
She was born to Stanley and Sandra (Brown) Pittman on Jan. 20, 1972 in Atlanta, Ga.
Angel attended school in Barnesville until the start of her middle school career when she then moved to Marysville, Calif. with her family. In 1988, she met Benny Robinson, as a sophomore in high school.
Upon graduating Maysville High School in 1990, the couple was wed. In 1993, they decided to move to Nebraska and start a family. The two adopted their daughter, Rebecca, 1994. Angel worked here and there in customer service jobs but was most proud of being a mother and a wife.
She was incredibly artistic, from painting to macrame. Angel was headstrong but also very kind, always putting others needs before her own.
Survivors of Angel include her husband, Benny Robinson; daughter, Rebecca (Travis) Beck; granddaughter, Taniah; siblings, Linda Scarlet, Priscilla, Daniel “DJ”, Denise, Shirley, and Stanley Pittman; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Sandra.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 2 p.m. at North Platte Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Friday, Sept. 22 from noon-5 p.m. at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home, which is assisting the family with arrangements.
