Bullets were fired into a residence on the north side of the city six days ago and the North Platte police found the suspect Thursday morning, after asking for information from the public.
Charles Robinson, 22, was arrested at his home around 10:30 a.m. and taken to the Lincoln County jail.
Police spokeswoman Beth Kerr said officers went to the 2000 block of N. Buffalo on Sept. 28 to check out a report of gunshots. A resident there told them they saw the incident and had it on video.
In the initial police response, it didn’t appear that anything was hit by bullets, however, further investigation found bullet holes in a home that was occupied when the shots were fired, Kerr said.
Robinson is held without bond pending his arraignment in Lincoln County Court.
