A large crowd turned out Friday evening for “Live at the Espresso,”  a show featuring young musicians Jack Bunger and his band, plus solo artists Skyler Faith and Koty De Cent.

De Cent started the show with three soulful songs, including an original number, then invited Skyler Faith onstage to join him on Radioactive.

Faith commanded the audience’s full attention with eight songs, punctuated by Leonard Cohen’s and Jeff Buckley’s Hallelujah. She accompanied herself on guitar for most of her performance, and switched to keyboard on two songs.

Bunger, who at age 13 has established himself as one of the best guitar players in town,  played 45 minutes of rock and blues, backed by Harley Yenni on drums and Brodee Roblee on bass.

Applause and cheers erupted after each song.

The show was enhanced by coffees, soup and sandwiches from the Espresso Shop, prepared and served by owner Brandon Raby and his crew.
