The Community Redevelopment Authority will meet at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14 to consider adopting a redevelopment project.
The meeting will be held at city council chamber at City Hall, 211 W. Third, city clerk Angela Gilbert said.
The CRA reviews possible economic development projects that utilize tax increment financing, and after the review, makes a recommendation to the city council. The council must approve a TIF project before it can proceed.
It will be the first meeting of the CRA since Oct. 6, 2015.
The CRA will elect a chair, vice-chair and secretary, then proceed to the rest of the agenda:
- Review of a Redevelopment Plan of the City of North Platte.
- Consider adoption of a resolution recommending approval and forwarding the redevelopment plan to the North Platte Planning Commission.
- Approval of a Redevelopment Project of the City of North Platte.
- Approval of a Cost Benefit Analysis, and related actions.
