Brent McEntee was convicted of identity theft and theft by deception Thursday in Lincoln County Court.
McEntee, 47, was charged March 16 for using false identification to cash forged checks at two branches of the Adams State Bank in North Platte, plus a third check at their Sutherland branch.
He pled no contest to the charges in a deal that reduced them from felonies to misdemeanors.
He was sentenced to 90 days in jail and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $2,057.51 to Adams State Bank.
Lincoln County Court Judge Michael Piccolo ordered the restitution in one lump sum to Adams State Bank.
He gave McEntee credit for 20 days served.
McEntee is also wanted in Keith County for forging checks.
