Tickets go on sale soon for daily jet flights from North Platte to Denver International Airport.

The flights will begin Feb. 1. Tickets go on sale Saturday, Nov. 18 at or by phone at 800-864-8331.

United Express will use a 50-seat jet airplane — a CRJ 200 model, North Platte Regional Airport Manager Mike Sharkey said.

It will be roomier and reach its destination faster than planes that have served North Platte in the past. It will also have flight attendants, Sharkey said.

United Express is a subsidiary of United Airlines. It is operated by SkyWest Airlines.

Frequent flyer program will apply to United Express flights under United Airlines’ Mileage Plus program, Sharkey said.

Prior airline service by PenAir ended in October when that company reorganized.
