Dawn Alene Renfrow, 53, of North Platte, passed away Feb. 12, at Bryan LGH in Lincoln. She was born July 28, 1959, at Sidney to Henry Gene and JoAn Chrisman Hauser. Dawn grew up in California and Missouri, graduating high school from Warsaw, Mo. in 1977. She met Raymond Alvin Renfrow in 1991 at Boise, Idaho. They were married on Jan. 22, 1999, in North Platte where they made their home. Dawn worked for Noble Refrigeration before going to work for Home Instead as a caregiver in 2008. Dawn loved to crochet and do jigsaw puzzles, crafts and scrapbooking. She was a friend to everyone and would help anybody. She was a rock to many and always smiling. Dawn was a great mom and wife. Dawn is survived by her husband, daughter, Jessica Renfrow, and her mother, all of North Platte; four sisters, Debbie (Steve) Silva, of Roseville, Calif., Rhonda (Mike) Guess, of Auburn, Calif., Suzanne (Phil) Ramage, of Sandy, Utah. and Kelley (Mike) Dailey, of Maxwell; two brothers, Jeffrey (Trudi) Hauser, of Irmo, S.C. and Toby (Angie) Hauser, of Lincoln; many nieces, nephews and other family. She was preceded in death by her father. Cremation was chosen. A memorial service was at 4 p.m. Feb. 16, at the Maxwell Baptist Church with Pastor Bob Allen officiating. Odean Colonial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
