A new bag policy has been put into place for next summer’s Nebraskaland Days concerts and rodeo, affecting what attendees can carry into the Wild West Arena.

Similar to the bag policy implemented by the University of Nebraska for Husker athletic events, Nebraskaland Days ticket holders next summer will be restricted on the type of bag they can carry in to the Wild West Arena, and what can be in it, Nebraskaland Days Executive Director David Fudge said.

Clear plastic bags up to 12x12 inches in size may be used. In addition, gallon zip lock bags may also be carried, as well as a small clutch purse.

However, backpacks, duffel bags, coolers, and large purses will no longer be allowed.

“We’re doing our best to ensure that everyone who comes to a show has a great experience,” Fudge said. “Part of that is ensuring that we’re doing as much as we can to keep folks safe -- making sure prohibited items, including weapons, never make it past the front gate.”

A complete list of banned items is available at https://nebraskalanddays.com/wild-west-arena-rules/
