Softball v baseball teams to square off for Teammates mentoringTell North Platte what you think

North Platte BanditS softball players will square off against North Platte’s American Legion teams Monday, July 31, in a slow pitch challenge doubleheader.

The games will benefit North Platte’s Teammates mentoring program.

The U16 Bandits will play the Juniors in the opener and the U18 Bandits will play the Seniors in the second game.

The National Anthem is at 6:25 p.m. and the first pitch is at 6:30 p.m.

The games will be played at Bill Wood Field. Admission is $5.

Celebrity umpires include Mayor Dwight Livingston and head North Platte Community College softball coach Janelle Higgins.
