• Lincoln County Fairgrounds (5015 W. Rodeo Rd) – The County Fair is July 26-31. Live music, demolition derby and tractor pull, plus 4-H & family fun.

• Fort Cody Trading Post (I-80 & US 83 junction) – N’Route Music presents the live Americana music of Daniel Christian. Opening act Flatrock Irregulars at 6 p.m. $5.

 

Friday, July 21

• Cody Park (1601 N. Jeffers ) – Free kids day, putt-putt golf, basketball & football toss, soccer kick & obstacle course, sponsored by the Thrift Center, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.

• North Platte Public Library (120 W. 4th) - Eclipses Future by Derryl Barr, self-proclaimed eclipse chaser & former North Platte teacher, noon. Brown Bag lunch series.

• Another Round Sports Bar and Grill (1008 W. 18th) – The Calhouns live country/classic rock, $5. All ages, 9 p.m.

• The Fox Theater, (301 E 5th St) - movie. Finding Nemo, 7 p.m. $5

• Kelsey’s Place (219 W. Rodeo Rd) – Karaoke every Friday. 7 p.m.

 

Saturday, July 22

• Lincoln County Fair Grounds (5015 Rodeo Rd) - 4-H horse show, 8 a.m.

• Platte River Mall (1000 S. Dewey) - Farmer’s Market, west parking lot. 7:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

• The Fox Theater (301 E 5th St) - movie. Finding Nemo, 3 p.m. $5.

• The Fox Theater (301 E 5th St) – Children’s musical – The Ever-After (a fractured fairy tale). 7 p.m. Admission by freewill donation.

• Pals Brewing Company (4520 S Buffalo Bill Ave) - Fun Pianos! by 176 Keys Dueling Pianos. $10 advance or $12 at door, bring  lawn chair. 7 p.m.

• Lincoln County Raceway (5105 West Highway 30) - Race day, gates open 4 p.m. hot laps 5:30 p.m., green flag 6:30 p.m. Admission $10; kids (6-12) $5; kids 5 & under free; Pit pass $25, 4–8 p.m.

• Another Round Sports Bar & Grill (1008 W. 18th) – Karaoke (every Saturday night).

 

Sunday, July 23

• The Fox Theater, (301 E 5th St) – Children’s musical – The Ever-After (a fractured fairy tale). 2 p.m. matinee. Admission is by freewill donation.

• Camp Maranatha (16800 W. Maranatha Rd) - Open waterfront, entrance fee includes access to waterfront, tubing, 100 ft. water slide, canoes, paddle boats & kayaks; blob, pool and sweet shop. Cookout 5:30 p.m. $8/person; $48/households of 6 or more. Opens at 2 p.m., waterfront closes 6 p.m.

 

Tuesday, July 25

• Platte River Mall (1000 S. Dewey) - Farmer’s Market, west parking lot. 3–6 p.m.

• Lincoln County Fairgrounds (5015 Rodeo Rd) - 4-H Dog Show, 6 p.m. in the beef arena.

 

Wednesday, July 26

• 21 Dance Club, Senior Center (900 E. 10th) – Top Shelf Country, 7-9:30 p.m. Open to public. Bring finger food, $5.

• VFW (2100 E 4th) - Bingo 6:45 p.m.

• Lincoln County Fairgrounds (5015 W. Rodeo Rd) – Fair opens, 4H shows, check ins, waterslide, exotic animal show.

 

Thursday, July 27

• Platte River Mall (1000 S. Dewey) - Farmer’s Market, west parking lot. 3–6 p.m.

• Fort Cody Trading Post (I-80 & US 83 junction) – Live folk, bluegrass music by The Darning Hearts. $5. Country singer Al Raby opens the show. 6-9 p.m.

• Lincoln County Fairgrounds (5015 W. Rodeo Rd) – Fair continues with 4H shows. waterslide, exotic animal show.

 

Friday, July 28

• Lincoln County Fairgrounds (5015 W. Rodeo Rd.)Fair continues. Playground, petting zoo, zip line, slick pig contest, kids pedal tractor pull, ranch rodeo. Live music by Southern Fryed, 9pm–12am (after ranch rodeo)

• Centennial Park (Francis St. between Oak & McDonald) – Movie at dusk - Top Gun. No charge. Bad weather site is the Rec Center.

• Another Round Sports Bar and Grill (1008 W. 18th) -- Live music by singer-songwriter Jack Bentley -- traditional country. 9 p.m.
