A North Platte woman was arrested Wednesday and charged with meth distribution based on an abundance of evidence, according to police reports.Police spokesman John Deal said officers developed probable cause to obtain a search warrant Monday for drugs at a home in the 400 block of East H St., where Marissa Foster, 32, lived.
Officers found the place unoccupied when they served the warrant.
Deal said the search turned up pipes, spoons, and syringes consistent with meth use, as well as several plastic bags containing suspected meth residue, along with new unused plastic bags in the vicinity.
He said a digital scale was found near the baggies, too, plus several prescription pills of dextroamphetamine.
Officers charged Foster with possession of meth with intent to distribute, as well as possession of prescription pills, a controlled substance for which there was no prescription.
Foster was contacted Wednesday afternoon at a home in the 500 block of West 11th. She was arrested and taken to the Lincoln County jail, where she is held on a $100,000 bond.
