Families and friends are invited to a relaxing afternoon and evening of live music during Memorial Weekend.

The music fest will be held Saturday, May 27, when four groups will perform on the spacious back lawn of the Regency Retirement Center in North Platte.

Food, beer and wine will be on sale.

The bands are the Flat Rock Irregulars, Tragic Martha, the James Burke Trio and WonderCult.

Wine and craft beer will be provided by Pals Brewery.

The food vendors are Early Bird & Second Mouse BBQ as well as La Pachanga Mexican Restaurant.

“Memorial weekend is a good weekend to spend with friends and family,” organizer Yoko Lawing said. “Come, relax and listen to some great live music.”

The show starts at 4:30 p.m. and ends around 9:30 p.m. There is a $5 cover charge.

The center is at 700 W Philip Ave. Parking is around back of the center, off Oak Ave. Bring a lawn chair.
