• North Platte Community Playhouse (301 E. 5th St) - I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, 8 p.m. $15, Ages 16 & under $8, Students with I.D. $8.

Saturday, April 22

• Regency Retirement Community (700 W. Philip Ave) - Earth Day Festival. Food, live music featuring Rascal and many others, vendors, displays include yoga. 11 a.m.-5 p.m..

• Espresso Shop (near Fifth and Dewey downtown) – The WonderCult, James Burke & Tragic Martha in concert. Live music, $5 suggested donation. Refreshments on sale. 7 p.m.

• Lincoln County Raceway (5105 West Highway 30) -- Stockcar racing, season opener. Gates open 4 p.m. Hot Laps 5:30 p.m. Race 6:30 p.m. $10. Kids 6-12 $5. Age 5 and under free. Pit-pass $25.

Thursday, April 27

• Lincoln County Fairgrounds (5105 W. Highway 30) - Country Bluegrass Festival, first day. 10 a.m.-10 p.m. $22, kids 12 & under free 10 a.m. Best bluegrass bands in the country, good food, crafts, children's areas.

 

Friday, April 28

• Sandhills Convention Center, (2102 S. Jeffers St) - Emerald City Gala, Fundraiser against domestic violence 6 p.m. Dinner served at 7 p.m. Emerald jewelry prize drawing, 50/50 raffle. Dancing to Spinphony, tickets $60 or 2 for $100.

• Lincoln County Fairgrounds (5105 W. Highway 30) - Country Bluegrass Festival, second day. $22, kids 12 & under free. 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Best bluegrass bands in the country.

• North Platte Community Playhouse (301 E. 5th St) - I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, 8 p.m. Admission $15, ages 16 & under $8, students with I.D. - $8.
