Prairie Art Center: New exhibit, partnership with Nebraska City art centerTell North Platte what you think

At the Prairie Arts Center from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday. March 11, Ernie Weyeneth, the foundation president of the Kimmel Harding Nelson Artist in Residency Center, will speak.

Weyeneth will discuss a partnership between the Prairie Arts Center and the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center in Nebraska City, and “our mission of sharing arts across the state,” PAC Executive Director Holly Carlini said.

The latest exhibit at the Prairie Arts Center features art from Kimmel's permanent collection -- unusual works from artists across the world, including paintings, sculptures, photography and prints, which share the artist’s experience in the Midwest through a wide variety of textures, colors and emotions, Carlini said.

The exhibit is sponsored by the Conell family of North Platte and Jerry Remus Chevrolet-Cadillac.
