The 42nd annual Irish Fest drew hundreds of attendees to St. Patrick’s High School on Sunday, Feb. 26 and brought in more than $26,000 in net proceeds for the North Platte Catholic Schools.

Wendy Dodson, the executive director of the schools endowment-trust, estimates more than 300 people enjoyed the homemade roast beef dinner.

Dodson said 6,265 game tickets were sold for mini-carnival in the school gym, and $800 worth of baked goods were sold.

She said bids were placed on more than 75 silent auction items, and 4,621 raffle tickets were sold.

Jake and Amy McGill of North Platte won the $1,000 grand prize in the Irish Fest raffle. Other raffle winners were: Larry and Karen Becvar, Becky Goold, Verna Kellogg, Andrew and Madonna Jett, Reiny and Martha Burbach, and Mike and Barb Honerman.
