This year the Nebraskaland Days Competitive Art Show will be held at a new location -- the Art and Gift gallery on the bricks downtown.

There are five big rooms for artists to hang their masterpieces, organizers say.

The show runs from Sunday, June 9 through Sunday, June 16.

The opening reception will be from 6:30-8 p.m. June 9. The gallery is open to the public.

Show hours:

• Monday-Thursday, June 10-13 – Display for public, 11 a.m.-8 p.m.

• Friday-Saturday, June 14-15 – Display for public, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

• Sunday, June 16 – Display open, noon-4 p.m.

Artists are asked to promptly pick up their artwork from 4-6 p.m. on June 16.

Entries are open to the public and entry forms can be picked up at the Nebraskaland Days office or downloaded online from the Nebraskaland Days website.

Entries are due to Sue Perez at 1709 East Second no later than Friday, June 7.

In June, the gallery will also host the abstract art show.

For more information, call 534-1946 or Perez at 530-9488.
