The West Central Spring Livestock Judging Contest and Clinic was held at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds on May 22, with 54 youth from nine different counties in Nebraska competing. During the clinic, youth learned the methods of judging beef, swine, sheep, and goats.

In the senior division, Jason Line of Buffalo County was the high point individual.

Sage Williams of Buffalo County took second and Garrett Ryland of McPherson County placed third.

In the seniors team contest, Buffalo County placed first, McPherson County second, and Lincoln County third.

In the junior division, Tristan Smith of Frontier County was the high point individual. McKenzie Beattie of Dawson County took second and Bailey Dittmar of Buffalo County was third.

In the juniors team contest, Buffalo County placed first, Gosper County second, and Logan County third.
