• Hershey Interstate Lake (I-80 exit 164) – Family fishing day. Lunch provided. Prizes for biggest catch. 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Free event.

• The Depot Restaurant - dine to live gypsy jazz music by Blue Swing. 6-8 p.m.

• Hershey Legion Hall – Wine & Memories. 6-8:30 p.m. Tickets $30.

• A to Z Books - 7-10:30 p.m. Open Mic Nite. Established performers and newcomers. Free-will donation. Refreshments provided or bring your own.

• Lincoln County Raceway (Fairgrounds, W. Rodeo Rd) - Races, sports, mods, compacts. Gates open at 5 p.m. Veterans Night- Heartland Spirit Cars/ URSS Spirit Car 305, candy toss & bike giveaway. Races start 7 p.m.

• Sculley’s Shooters (2221 E. Fourth) – Live music by Young Slugga. 9 p.m. until closing. Cover charge.

• Lakehouse (Lake Maloney inlet) – Summer Bash with live music by Rascal. 6-9 p.m.

• Pop Corner (1847 W. A) – Live piano and song by Shermie. 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

• VFW Post 1504 (2100 E. Fourth) – bingo, total of 24 games, starts at 6:45 p.m.

• Senior Center (901 East 10th) - Dance to Janet King and Maynard Zipf. 7-9:30 p.m.


Thursday, May 30

• Lakehouse (Lake Maloney) – watch artists create, have appetizers and enjoy live music by Rascal. 5-8 p.m.

• Lincoln County Fairgrounds – Shrine Circus performances at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tickets $12; children 11 and under free.

• Sculley’s Shooters (2221 E. Fourth) – adult dance lessons. 7-8 p.m. $5 per person.

• Touchdown Club - live music/DJ by Rascal, 9 p.m.-midnight.


Friday, May 31

• Sculley’s Shooters (2221 E. Fourth) – Live music by Granger Smith with special guest, Earl Dibbles, Jr. 9 p.m. until closing. Tickets $10.

• Cody Park pavilion - Municipal band in concert. 8 p.m. No charge.

• Old Town Square (414 N. Dewey) – Live music, raffle, quarter carnival. Raising awareness of multiple sclerosis. 9 a.m.-9 p.m. No charge.

• Calhoun Ranch (4.5 miles west of US 83 on N. River Rd., roads will be marked) – Rockin’ Ranch Party with live bands throughout day. Also Stan W. Sparrow Rock & Roll comedy show, car show, piρata and contests, including 50s/60s costumes. 1-9 p.m. Admission $5.

• Lincoln County Raceway (Fairgrounds, W. Rodeo Rd) - Races - sports, mods, stockers, compacts. Gates open at 5 p.m. NAPA Night. Races start 7 p.m.

• Eagles Club - Live music by the Gary Phipps, (Nebraska Country Music Hall of Fame) 7-11 p.m. No charge, public welcome.

• Cody Park – movies in the park -- Wreck-It Ralph, Disney movie is comedy with an arcade game theme, featuring cameos from several well-known video games. 9 p.m. Free.

• Lincoln County Historical Museum - North Platte municipal band in concert. 8 p.m. No charge.

• Downtown - meet the Miss Nebraska candidates, share crafts, have fun. 1:30-3:30 p.m. Parade at 4:30 p.m.

• Quality Inn and Suites - Fashions, purses with Miss Nebraska candidates, 6:30 p.m.


Saturday, June 8

• Lincoln County Museum - Heritage festival. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Displays, food, fun, kid's boot kicking contest, ages 5-10. No charge.

• North Platte High School performing arts center. Nebraska's outstanding teen pageant. 2 p.m.

• Wild West Arena Pavilion (N. Buffalo Bill Ave.) - Nebraskaland Days official opening ceremonies 4:45 p.m., followed by micro-brew fest at 5 p.m.

• Lincoln County Raceway (Fairgrounds, W. Rodeo Rd) - IMCA - Modified - Stock Car - Hobby Stock & Sport, Mod Sport Compact. Gates open 5 p.m. Races start at 7 p.m.

• The Depot Restaurant - dine to live gypsy jazz music by Blue Swing. 6-8 p.m.

• North Platte High School performing arts center. Miss Nebraska scholarship pageant finals, 7 p.m.

• Wild West Arena - Midwest Championship Fights (mixed martial arts) 7 p.m.

• Community College, north campus - Field mass. 8:15 a.m.

• Wild West Arena (N. Buffalo Bill Ave.) - Carriage driving. 11 a.m.
