Snowfall will end before midnight Thursday as the much-discussed winter storm moves out of the area, the weather service said Thursday afternoon. The overnight low temperature will be around 6 degrees, making the wind chill factor drop to -5. As of 6 p.m. Thursday, six inches of snow fell during the two-day storm, containing about 0.32 inches of moisture, the National Weather Service in North Platte said. There is a 30 percent chance of more snow Saturday and Sunday. Cold weather is forecaset until the middle of next week, with daily highs in the 30s until Feb. 28, the weather service said.
