With the 2012 "build season" over and the 2013 season approaching, it is time to thank everyone who contributed to make 2012 a successful year. A special thanks to all the volunteers, businesses who help in any way, and to all who contributed financially. As of this year, the North Platte Area Habitat for Humanity has provided decent and affordable homes to 36 families. I want to personally thank everyone who has helped make this a rewarding experience for me. After being involved for more than 10 years and serving as construction coordinator for the past several years, it is time for me to slow down or step aside. If you or someone you know would like to become involved in coordinating the building for Habitat, please call me at 539-1525 or call the Habitat office at 534-6251.
