The age 16 and under North Platte Sensation's bats proved to be too much for McCook to handle Wednesday night in a double-header. In the first game, the Sensations jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, defeating McCook 12-3. Mikenzi Wiseman went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI's, KayLynn Lantis was 2 for 2, Sally Hengen 2 for 3 with and RBI, and Kaley Stokey was also 2 for 3 with an RBI. Marissa Ramos got the win on the mound for the Sensations. The hitting streak continued in the second game as the Sensations handed McCook their second loss of the evening 5-2. Marissa Ramos went 3 for 4 with 3 RBI's, Kaley Stokey was 3 for 4, and Zandra Carlini went 2 for 3. Jenny Keck was the winning pitcher. The Sensations are in action in Steamboat Springs, Colo. on June 8-10.
