Here is my personal experience with Obama care.

I have a family member that was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer about 5 years ago. She had worked for the same company for 40 years and had paid for "traditional health insurance" her entire working life.

About two years after her treatments and her remission, her employer was forced to cancel the insurance because of the high claims that were paid out and the premium was now unaffordable. All employees at this small company lost their coverage.

Two years later she was, sick again and no insurance and with a pre-existing condition. It was not until she got "Obama Care" that she was able to start her treatments again, but now it was too late. I sit by her bed everyday and watch her slip away in horrible pain.

I worked for a major insurance company for 23 years. I know how it works. Insurance is guaranteed to no one.

Now, I will support a national insurance program that everyone is required to carry, with the option to purchase on the open market supplemental insurance, much like Medicare and supplements.

Now here is my message to you. I am aware that there is work to be done. Do not send me anymore biased political crap.

As a life long Republican, i will vote for Obama with the hope we can refine the current health care issues.
