Do you think you might be ready to buy your first house? Where do you begin?
The next face-to-face Homebuyer Education Class presented by Lincoln County Community Development Corporation will be Saturday, May 5.
The class will be at the south campus of North Platte Community College, McDonald Belton room 124.
The class starts at 9 a.m. There is no charge to Lincoln County residents, and a $25 fee for those who live out of the county, organizers say.
You will learn when is the right time for you to buy your home, budgeting before and after you buy, the ‘ins’ and ‘outs’ of credit issues, how credit affects the purchase, mortgage products, how to find a house, what is a closing, how to protect the investment, and the responsibilities of a homeowner.
To register, call 308-534-5095.
The Lincoln County Community Development Corporation is pleased to provide this REACH and Federal Home Loan Bank approved class.
This project is funded in part by a grant from Nebraska Housing Developers Association and the Nebraska Department of Economic Development.
