The North Platte High School junior varsity team placed first Friday in the St. Pat’s golf invitational at the River’s Edge course in North Platte

The Bulldogs shot 324, besting runner-up Hershey’s 358. Sutherland took third with a 368 score.

Led by Tanner Ruda’s winning score of 79, all five North Platte golfers finished in the top ten.

Drew Phillips also shot a 79. Kasch Morrison had an 82; Finn Lucas an 84, and Max McIntosh was eighth with an 86.

Nolan Benjamin, 82, placed fourth to lead Hersey and teammate River Hudson added an 89 for a 10th place finish.

Jace Leibhart of Aneslmo-Merna shot an 85 for sixth, St. Pat’s Tyler Heiss, 86, for seventh and Jeremy Peters scored 86 for ninth.
