The North Platte High School boys’ golf team finished second at the Greater Nebraska Athletic Conference meet on Friday at Lake Maloney Golf Course.

The Bulldogs had a team score of 298 and finished four strokes behind Norfolk for the conference title.

Norfolk was led by Luke Kluver’s individual winning score of 68. Behind him were Kyle Zimbelman and Chesney Tatman for NPHS. Zimbelman was second with a score of 72. Tatman had a score of 73 before beating Kellen Rossman of Norfolk in a playoff to claim third place.

North Platte had two more medalists. Jayden Jones was seventh with a 75 and Kade Wroot was ninth with a 78.

Seth Negley was the fifth golfer for the Bulldogs and he finished just out of the top 10 with an 80.
