The competition at the Lexington Invitational was no match for North Platte on Tuesday as the Bulldogs won the meet going away.

NPHS had a total team score of 296. The runner-up Broken Bow had 325. McCook was third with 326.

In the victory, the Bulldogs had five of the top six individual performances. They were led by Seth Negley, who tied for first place with a score of 71.

Markus Eriksen of Grand Island Northwest was the co-champion with Negley.

North Platte’s Jayden Jones was third at 74.

Following Jones were teammates Tanner Ruda, Kyle Zimbelman and Drew Phillips. Ruda was fourth at 75. Zimbelman was fifth at 76 and Phillips was sixth with 78.
