The Art Guild and the Platter Painters spring shows are currently on display downtown on the bricks at the Art and Gift Gallery.

The annual shows portray years of efforts by local club members.

State merit award winners will advance to display at the annual Association of Nebraska Art Clubs (ANAC) conference in June.

From 300-plus state merit winners at this annual show, 26 will be chosen to travel the state next year.

ANAC is unique. It is the only such association in the United States that supports all art clubs in the state, organizers say.

The annual ANAC conference has workshops, meetings and a competition that includes the best of each club from throughout the state. The conference is June 20-23rd in Scottsbluff.

Both spring shows will be on display at the gallery through April 30, at 516 N. Dewey.

Come view the creative art works during regular hours, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
